Which is the best private medical care insurers in this area please.

We are with Salus and can give them a high recommendation. Look for the advert on the right of the Forum homepage for Gran Alacant Insurance, contact them and Alfonso will help you with all the options. We used his services and found him to be very helpful, in my time on the Forum many others have also recommended him.

Alfonso speaks perfect English, never had to speak to Salus directly, just needed to show my Salus Card at the Private Clinic and at the Quiron Hospital in Torrievieja, after that always had English speaking Doctors, Consultants and Nurses.

Alfonso is a hero. He is so helpful. He will sort out any problems you have with translation or appointments. Just contact him he will do everything.
We have, just recently, insured ourselves with ASSSA, who are in Javea near the Arenal.
All staff speak perfect English and are very helpful.
It gives us identical cover to others but at slightly lower price.
