please can someone advise me on ehic renewal . we already have private health insurance , but when visiting our new doctor recently they didnt only ask for our ehic , but also brought to our notice that it will be expired soon , and told us to renew them. we do not have an uk address , we have been resident here in spain for some time . can we obtain a renewal WITHOUT a uk address ? thankyou in advance

Yes, you may, but possibly only if you're a pensioner or working here for a UK employer.
The easiest way is to just ring them on +44 191 279 0575 (or possibly +44 191 218 1999 option 1).
Last time I did that, our EHICs were posted the day after I rang them.
Strictly speaking it's an EHICE.
