Hi. Emigrating to Spain next January and would like some information regarding health insurance for example first year cost. Being 62 I have pre-existing conditions. For example bladder cancer which was found really early and am now cancer free. Thx

You need to have an insurance policy that covers all conditions with no co-payments and one which provides cover for past and existing medical problems.
This could be very difficult but ASSSA insurance gets good write ups so maybe approach them to find out the possibility of full cover. Other insurance companies, provided they cover all risks in Spain, have been recommended on here many times but you may find it very difficult to get a full cover policy with pre-existing conditions. Once you have had residency for one year you can apply to go on the convenio especial which is the Valencia Community NHS policy and covers you for all conditions although it doesn't cover prescription costs.

As Marcliff has alluded to, when you have been officially resident in Spain for 1 year you can apply to join the Convenio Especial. If you are under 65 years of age the monthly fee is 60 euros. If you are 65 years of age or older the monthly fee is 157 euros. As already mentioned all prescriptions must be paid for in full unless the medication is only dispensed at a public hospital Pharmacy in which case there is no charge.
