Health Insurance recommendations Please

Good Afternoon

Can anyone recommend a Heath insurance company ?

We are looking to take a policy .

I am 68 and my wife is 66 .

ASSSA get a lot of recommendations but I rely on the Spanish health service with my S1/SIP as I find it very good.

Yes, you can get a Spanish Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) with an S1 letter, which can serve as proof of healthcare coverage. The S1 form, typically for UK state pensioners, allows you to receive state healthcare in Spain and can be used to meet the NLV healthcare requirement, provided it is pre-registered in Spain before your visa appointment.

Steps to use the S1 for your NLV application

Request your S1 form: Contact the NHS Overseas to request your S1 form, which they will send to a UK or Spanish address.
Pre-register the S1 in Spain: Before your visa appointment, you must pre-register your S1 form in Spain. You can do this through the Spanish Social Security website.
Provide the S1 at your consulate appointment: Present the pre-registered S1 at your visa application appointment to prove you have the necessary healthcare coverage for the NLV.
Register the S1 after arriving: Once you have your residency permit in Spain, you will need to register the S1 at your local social security office to gain access to the public healthcare system.
