I am looking for insurance for my holiday home. I rent out the property and wondered if anybody knew of a firm that includes cover for damage and theft by tenants

We use Liberty Seguros (website https://www.libertyseguros.es/).

There are a number of options but you can include lettings/tenant cover (assuming you have obtained your tourist licence as otherwise I suspect it might be invalidated in the event of a claim).

I've never spoken to them - it was all sorted online/email and I've never had to make a claim so can't comment on the quality of that side of things.

Carefully read the smallprint (in some cases a booklet of 200+ pages).. Some insurers put a limit on the dyas the object is not permanently occupied, or two locks for the main entrance door (and many other gimmicks leaving you in the rain),
