Jennifer Cunningham has a good reputation but as an agent for Generali Seguro will only offer quotes for that insurer (which is a good one) but Linda Rowland in Santa Pola can compare various insurers and has been recommended on here. I have no personal experience of either as I use Alfonso of Gran Alacant Insurances who advertise on the right of this page and he is another Generali agent and he has been extremely helpful both with motor and home insurance claims for me. Linea Directa also get a lot of recommendations.
The most problems seem to occur with insurances offered by banks.

Hi, just to give you a different perspective I buy my insurance in Gibraltar for my Spanish house. It is cheaper and backed by British money although I pay in euros. One watch out if you buy in Spain - if you want to change it next year you will need to give notice beforehand. I think its 1 months notice. Good luck.

Linea Directa, English speaking, all documents in English. Very helpful.i have house and car with them.

Can I ask if you have had to claim from them and if so, were you happy with the claims process?
I only ask because most insurers are helpful when they are after your business and you can only really determine what they are like if you need help from them in the case of a claim.
I have good experiences of claiming from Generali but a bad and rude experience trying to cancel a policy with Linea Directa, with more than enough notice.

I oersinally haven’t had to claim but my neighbours are with them and claimed the other day. It went very smoothly and they were very helpful. But I can’t vouch for any more than that.
