Hi everyone,
I was quoted EUR 230 per year for a premium insurance of a semi-detached house (worth around EUR 145k). Does that sound reasonable?

It all depends on the risks covered and excluded, Usually it's detailed in a booklet titled "General Conditions" which I strongly recommend to read carefully including all the small print and foot traps. You'll be amazed.

Just renewed my house insurance with Easycover at La Zenia for my quad house. It was 194€.

I did not get anything like that with my quote. However, I did get this and it seems rather standard.

Wow, honestly, this is unbelievable! I just got the full T&Cs and I'm not sure whether it's a joke or not.
Example: if I put up Philips Hue smart lights everywhere and they are destroyed by electricity, I am not getting anything from the insurer because the unit cost is less than EUR 60... but a whole house with Philips Hue can cost around EUR 500 total.
Another example: insurance for vandalism does not cover broken windows or graffiti.
So basically insurance is pretty useless.
