Best wishes for your move, hopefully the Forum will help with some of the questions that will arise over the next few months as you settle in here in Spain.

Can I suggest that you have a look at Jim’s Guides on this site as you may find answers to some of the queries that you will have.   Another couple of helpful sites are the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain for general queries and the N332 site for anything to do with driving in Spain.   The latter site is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and includes an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.   Just be aware of a couple of things:   (1) many towns and provinces ‘tweek’ national rules and regulations for their own procedures and (2) many things may change after the U.K. leaves the E.U.

I have found Jim's guides very helpful, I also have friends who have been living there for 11 years they have also been very helpful, just need to find a couple of kids that my son could make friends with.
