Hi

Don’think I would buy at the moment , renting can be relatively cheap and you can explore different regions without commitment. I partially like La marina area but it depends what you are looking for ,

Hi Pete

I’m interested in a long term rental somewhere in this vicinity but will consider anywhere if the local amnenities and community meet the requirements we are interested in.

We have our own property in UK so would be flexible regarding dates.

We want to try the lifestyle before we commit to a permanent move .

Anywhere between 3-12 months would be brilliant !

Please advise as to the community as we sadly lost my Mum 2 yrs ago and this is for my Dad so must have nearby amnenities and a local British community would be perfect !

2 beds would be perfect but again we are flexible.

Maximum rent would be £500

I’d be extremely grateful if you are aware of anything suitable

Kindest regards

Janet Byrne

Hi

We want to try the lifestyle before we commit to a permanent move .

Anywhere between 3-12 months would be brilliant !

Please advise as to the community as thats the most important aspect for my Dad.

He’s 82 but fit as a fiddle and I desperately want him to make friends and have a social life as he’s so lonely after loosing my Mum.

I would be so grateful if you could advise of anywhere suitable for us to look at or anyone you may know who would consider a longer term rental.

He can be extremely flexible regarding dates etc and is perfectly able to come back to UK if someone has found a buyer whilst my Dad is renting their property.

We were in Royal Park Spa Resort in Cabo Roig last week and I met a lovely man on the plane comming home who told me about his place but I can’t remember we’re it was but it sounded like it could be perfect for my Dad.

I think it was Los Marinos 1 which is why I’ve come on this forum.

I’d sincerely appreciate your advice

Many thanks

Kindest regards

Janet Byrne

Me and my husband moved to villa martin in nov 2018 even though we didn’t know the area. It was the best move we have made ,everyone is very supportive and we made friends quickly . Good luck 😉

Hi Gordon

I'm coming to Spain soon and want Spanish lessons for myself  and my husband from April 29th for 4 or 5 days. As you have lots of information, can you advise if you know anyone who can teach us?

Thanks

Sharon

Hello Sharon,

As you only have a few days to organise this I would suggest that you contact any of the English 'Academy type schools' near where you will be staying, many also teach Spanish and if they don't I'm sure that they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Are you looking for intensive or casual lessons ?

And are you looking for a high standard of Spanish for work or is it to help you integrate ?

I'm asking these questions because you may find someone local to you will come forward with offers of help.

Good Luck with your Spanish lessons and please let everyone know how you get on.

Regards,

              Gordon
