Hi. We lived along the coast for a couple of years (La Florida) some time ago. Having seen the error of our ways we now wish to move back to Spain and have been looking at properties online. We are, as many, on a budget and we don't require a big property, so 1 bed is perfectly acceptable. There are a few available on Mirador del Mediterraneo that would suit us. What can you tell us about them please? And.. does anyone know this pool there? We are looking to utilise the Non-Lucrative Visa scheme which seems good. Anyone else used this? We have our NIE numbers so have a head start.

Hello Buzby

 Its important that you get your NLV  applications accepted   before you buy your new home.

If for any reason, you don't qualify  on financial or health care requirements,    the home you buy will become a holiday home ,with the 90 days in a rolling 180 days limitation on visting,    so then, the  requirements might differ from a permanent home.

Hello 

We have a place on Mirador. It is now a gated development so it's secure. The community president is French speaks several other languages including Spanish and English. He is very keen to work with all the residents and owners to maintain the ambiance of the place. Now that it's gated there are no issues with security. There is a security guard employed who is also a caretaker he speaks about 4 different languages. As regards the pool there are several that all residents can use. The picture you have looks to be from the promotional book. All the pools are excellent and there is also a boules park everyone can use. We like it as it's quiet and relaxing.
