Hi Susan

I completed in July 2015 and have been back 3 times to collect keys, a short holiday, purchase various things and oversee workmen installing tv,air con and alarm etc

I now feel my apartment is my holiday getaway - only came her for the first time last May but really liked the atmosphere

People have been very helpful and I have spent every visit exploring the area and getting lost regularly

I could not survive without googlemaps on my phone!

I am still very excited to return to continue my explorations

I hope you enjoy your new home - feel free to ask any questions

Best Wishes

maggie

Hi Maggie

Thank you so much for your lovely reply. I am really looking forward to coming out. So glad you are enjoying your time in Villamartin. I will certainly be in touch for advice on a few things and maybe recommendations on builders etc. Can you give me any idea on cost of air con? That's something we need to have installed. We will also be looking for builders to do outside work and security grilles on Windows. We are going out on 21st Feb so would be great to get things moving.

Kind regards Susan

Hi, we have had ours for a year and are near the stray sod pub, great area and still learning new things, we are not out until Easter though. Karen & Terry

Hi Karen & Terry

Thanks for your reply. Good to know you are still enjoying it after a year. We did go to The Stray Sod and had something to eat there. Don't think we are far from it either but will explore a bit more in Feb.

Thanks again Susan

Hi there,

Obviously, anywhere on the Costa Blanca is going to be busier in the summer with tourists. Having said that, Villamartin is a densly populated area and many people who live there are permanent. Also, the Boulevard and the Plaza attract people from outlying areas. So the answer is that it is still quite busy all year round.

Torrevieja has an all year round population of 104,000 and in the winter, and quadruples in the summer.

This is a wonderful, healthy warm place to live. Have fun. Stan West.
