Hi

I am looking to move to costa blanca next year hopefully.

I like villamartin especially the plaza as it looks really busy.

Also zenia boulevard great for shopping, I did read other posts from lady's my age.

I really want to make new friends and would love to meet up for some girlie chats.

I am coming to spain on 2/9/18 for a week as I wanted to explore the area,i am staying in a hotel in roquetas de mar.

I am trying to find out if I can get the train from almeria to a station nearby to villa martin.

Regards

Susan

Hi, my sister has lived in Villamartin for 12 years and loves it.

The plaza is a lovely place, me and my wife have spent some nice times there relaxing both day and evening. La Zenia shopping centre has everything to offer and makes a nice day out. We don't live at Villamartin (we're in Benidorm) but I'm sure you will love it there. Hope you meet some nice lady friends.

Regards

Hi

We bought a new build house this year in La Zenia and feel the area has it all, fab beaches, shopping Boulevard is fantastic and we always visit the Plaza as it has a good choice of restaurants and entertainment, we looked at a lot of areas in Spain but La Zenia seems to have everything, and it’s pretty flat for cycling and walking, you won’t be disappointed.

Good luck

Carol

Sorry, but I don't believe that there is a train from Almeria and there is no train station near to Villamartin.   The nearest train station is in San Isidro which is inland and about 20-30 minutes drive from Villamartin.   If you look at this site you will see how few train lines there are around the Almeria/Murcia/Alicante Provinces there are:   https://about-spain.net/spain-rail-map2-svg.svg

Hi Susan,

I moved to Orihuela Costa 3 weeks ago which is approximately 15 min walk to La Zenia, haven't looked at trains etc yet...

I've a mate who helped me look for my property last June and is extremely helpful...His name is Alan Trayling and works for Ole International in the Boulevard in the AlCampo store...I thoroughly recommend you make an appointment he'll show you loads of properties and isn't pushy...I'll give you his phone number if you like...

Best wishes,

Graham.
