I am seeking a sales, sales management or operations role that would suit my experience.
I have over 20 years of sales and retail management experience and for the last 12 years I have worked in the prestige sector of the motor industry, with the last year being in Civil Engineering Design sector as a Business Director.

This level of experience gives me confidence that I can make a significant contribution to the volume of sales and the smooth operations within a company.

Throughout my career, I have achieved sales accreditations from high-end manufacturers, including Audi, BMW and Land Rover. This has enabled me to develop a very successful sales process that can be easily transferred from selling cars to selling homes.

I have also gained several years’ experience of managing, motivating, training and recruiting sales teams, with the last year being in an operations role, responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities, as well as keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training. Reviewing working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative

You will find that I have an excellent work ethic and someone who is exceptionally hard working I’m a great team player but can also be relied upon to work well independently.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet and discuss potential job opportunities and the contributions I could make.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss further.

Doesn't count for much unless you are fluent in Spanish I'm afraid.

Agree, without fluent Spanish your virtual CV is pretty worthless and your chances of landing the sort of job you're seeking less than zero.

Any experience with bar work or gardening?

With the greatest of respect I am fully aware of the limitations, hence one of the reasons for posting on a forum.
I certainly don't need one to say I have a useless virtual CV, thank you very much.

As for the flippant question of if I have "any experience in bar work and gardening," I find somewhat of an aspersion, considering what information I was trying to get across. (but I think you know that) IF on the other hand, it was a genuine question, then no I do not have experience in bar work.

To reiterate, the post was to put it out there as another avenue for me to explore, and I am fully aware of limitations.

I don’t think anyone was trying to be offensive about your CV. It’s simply that there are lots of ex-pats here/coming here with equally impressive skill sets in various businesses, and the sad truth is that without at least a working knowledge of Spanish, it’s really not viable. There are also many equally qualified Spanish nationals here and a very large unemployment problem. Also, many professional qualifications are’n’t necessarily of use here, as you would need to pass the equivalent Spanish requirements.

If you are interested in estate agency, as I gather from your post you may be, then many of the agents have multi-lingual staff and it may be worth contacting them all directly - however, as is common with many of these types of work, they use autonomo/self-employed people.

Sorry if you take this as unhelpful, it is not meant as such, but bar work and gardening is the unfortunate result for many.

Skills,  quals and experience virtually useless if you don't speak the language.

Low skill and low pay work. If your lucky enough to find one of those jobs.
