We are moving to Entre Naranjos in July and my husband and sons will be driving to Spain.

They will using the Euro Tunnel, to Calais then driving.

Have any of you done this journey before and have any tips please.

I would recommend that you use Via Michelin to plan your route, it will provide detailed information on your route including where and how much the tolls are.

Hi. We have done the trip many times. We come down through France. Stay well clear of Paris. Always cross the border at top end of Spain just south of Bordeaux. A lot quieter. Stick to the toll roads. A very pleasant journey.

Thanks for that info, much appriciated.

We actually live in The Isle of Man and are looking at ferry to Dublin, then drive to cork where there is a ferry to Santander then a 7.5hr drive to Castalla.

Saves all the  driving, but will have to look into it a bit more!
