Hi all you knowledgeable people out there Advise needed on applying for recidency. I have health cover in hand. But as we are not yet pensionable age I understand we will have to prove income/savings. Does this have to be in our Spanish account or can I use bank statements from the UK? We do own a property in Spain if this makes any difference. Been told lots of conflicting advise regarding applying in person or now can do online? Can anyone clear up for me Thanks Jan

This is where employing a gestor comes to the fore as they will know the precise requirements at the police station relevant to where you live and will be presenting.

Ours was a very pretty young girl who wore a very short body hugging dress and flirted with the two police officers who processed our residency applications so they were rather more interested in engaging with her than overly scrutinising our documents which they pretty much waved through with barely a glance.

Not that there was anything wrong with them of course and I'm sure the outcome would not have been any different it instead we'd had a crusty grandma - but for sure it did no harm !
