Hi there

This answer is probably on here somewhere but my head is bursting right now !

We are needing to apply for residencia as our little one has started school here recently. My partners business is based in the uk.

The lawyers have said that we need to have evidence of 7000euros in each of our bank accounts to get residencia - is this correct ? My partner earns enough to support us but we don’t have that in a lump sum - will they accept earnings as evidence or do we have to show that we have 21000 euros ??

Please help !!

All I can tell you is that for our recent residencia applications at Orihuela all they wanted to see was evidence of our regular income which is from various pensions, and even that was given a pretty cursory look over.

There was not as much as a mention of what we had in the bank either by the gestor we used or at Orihuela police station.

Thankyou very much for your reply as it also answers our other question ! We do the same - we have bank accounts in the uk with my partners income from which we transfer an amount each month to Spain and also an account with a lump sum. Therefore we were hoping that our uk bank accounts would be sufficient.

We are also getting private health care ready in preparation.

I think we will just take everything we have and hope for the best !

Try contacting oneway services in Queseda they will advise you and take you down to the police station €60/person without the hassle.
