Residencia cancelled - anyone else? - Page 2

There are a lot of people bemoaning the 'fact' that they can't get a residency appointment, but as far as I'm aware none of them have yet reported what happened when they asked at the actual police station. That's the sort of input that people need.

I know of one police station in Valencia province where they are still processing them, and doing so very nicely thank you. Apparently it's possible to lodge all your application paperwork with them, wait for confirmation that everything is acceptable, and then just go along in person to prove your ID.

Hello Jim, I think I remember someone having problems at Elche police station asking for ridiculous translations and high income but can't remember the details. Someone else posted that their solicitor had got them an appointment but as it is in September (by request), there is no feedback on this one.
We really need people from the UK who have successfully obtained their Residencia in the last few months to let us know how they did it.
Which police station is still processing applications Jim please?

HI We have had emails from the police cancelling appointments in Alicante, Torrevieja, Elche and Orihuela when we asked for a reason why they said "policy" due to Brexit....... So lets see what our very own "Trump" comes up with when he gets in power besides making the UK into a carry on film....

Buenos días, there are many groups and associations of foreigners in Spain who are making complaints to the Ministry of Labor and Immigration because in the appointment system, which works through minhap.es or mpt.es, it appears " there are no appointments available" for many of the requested procedures.

However, we have seen cases where by checking every day on the ministry's website sudden appointments were made to process residency. This past week, for example, we did this with a client in our office and there was a free appointment in Benidorm for next Thursday. Maybe because someone has cancelled or had been cancelled theirs..? who knows

You just have to select 'Alicante' + 'Policia-Certificado de residente o no-residente' and complete your personal details along the three different screens.

At the moment there's an appointment available at the foreigners office in Alicante.

We used connect at la finca algorfa no problems at orihuela . Just need to sort out permanent sip which we seem to be having problems with 

Got a call on Tuesday from my rep for an appointment Wednesday at Orihuela.  Residencia in hand by 10:30!

While there, I'm convinced that there was a couple of walk-ins.

We went to Alcoi last month and got it easy, even though we didnt strictly have all required, they were very helpful, i think you have to be prepared to travel to shorten the time, it took us 90 mins to get there, we would have waited 3 months most places, they saw us in less than 3 weeks...
