I have received an email from my urbanisation. I along with 75 others have been cc'd , thus all email addresses visible to all. Does Spain have any GDPR rules like the Uk?

Before I reply to the sender I would like to get my facts straight.

Thankyou

Hi, I know little about it except,

In Spain: The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). ... When the processing is based on consent the data subject has the right to revoke it at any time.

There is much information re:- the GDPR regs on google. under EU. Not much inf. but hope helps.

GDPR is an EU law which applies in Spain as it does in the UK. This looks like a clerical error. It is a data breach and should be reported in the first place to the sender. In the UK, the sending organisation would refer themselves to the information office for advice and maybe a slap on the wrist

Not sure what the process is for taking it further in Spain but I would let them know what they’ve done.

Saw this far too often during my working life, it's astonishing just how many people who really ought to know better either don't know what B.c.c means or in some cases that it even exists!

As part of your response, you might mention that your first reaction was to report the matter to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos - the Spanish data protection agency, but you decided first to seek a reaction from the urbanisation. The implied threat might make them take you seriously.
