Hi, I am coming out to Villamartin for ten days to complete my apartment purchase early September, would anyone know where I can buy a small safe? (the kind you see in hotels the world over that you bolt inside the wardrobe) TIA Julian.

Any good "Ferreteria" carries them. However, there are efficient alternatives to hide something from being seen.

Leroy Merlins is the equivalent of B&Q, there is a large one at La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre which as far as I know is the closest to Villamartin.

i got one from amazon es which i picked up from the post shop in the plaza .its a lot better quality than the ones i could buy in leroys.

Haven't read other posts so apols if saying what thousands of others have said more eloquently, while less inebriated than I and not in the blazing sun on a roof somewhere near you, like a sad altruist.
Leroy Merlin (a B&Q type retailer located locally at La Zenia Boulevard) is where I bought both my safes. Make sure you have a physical key in case of battery failure but/and replace the batts yearly according to operating instructions.
Both have worked seemlessly.
Therefore I recommend Leroy M

I can't remember but it it wasn't a killer.
I think less than €70 for the more substantial safe but, either way, I got a sense it was fair value at the time and, as I said already, both have been just fine 5 years on.
