Car tax

A month or two back, someone on this forum recommended this website.

It worked for me.

Our car is parked at Alicante Airport through Alicante Airport parking. This company is top notch when the car needs serviced, ITV or the car requiring taxed.

That may have been me the only caveat being that you may need a Spanish mobile number to receive a confirmation text message on. 

I say may because I have no way of knowing if a UK number will work or not, because I don't have one, perhaps someone who does can try it and report back.

In any case it doesn't have to be your own number, it's perfecly fine to use say a friends and they relay the code in the message back to you.

Did you put hyphens in your NIE ?

I found that it works by omitting the hyphens

I just tried ours again. Input the plate and the NIE (no hyphens, capital letters).

It came back with this heading, the car details, and a "send" button to process a transaction.

"Procedures with Unique tax reference - N Fijo (only in payment periods)"

I am using a Chromebook. The website might behave differently if you have (say) and Android device.
