Hi
Please can someone tell me how you billed for your council tax, when it is due, and what payment options there are ? Can you set up a direct debit ?

Hi, you are billed through your SUMA account which you can access online, maybe by post elsewhere but not here. We printed the bill off and will pay at the Sabadel ATM which has a scanner using the barcode. Yes you can set up a DD but there are date limits here so ok for next year. It is due about now in the our area.

Further thought GTMK - if you have some land in addition to your place, you will see 2 bills on the SUMA account, one for Impto Bienes Inmeubles Rustica which isn't very much, 44 euros in our case.
Well worth getting a SUMA account if you haven't already...good for car tax etc etc and there is a calendar of the tax billings.
It doesn't take long to sign up for one via www.suma.es...just needs your NIE if I recall.
Just shout if you need more.
