Sums and solicitors
We have just received a letter from our solicitor with our suma yearly fee which is fine we expect to pay but it was my understanding that we paid her in our purchase/solicitors fees, to carry this out for us the first year to set up the direct debit as she did with all the utilities. But she has added a €100 fee for herself stating this is a yearly fee if we need to ask my questions or to set up any direct debits, we had not asked her to do this,is this usual or is this a fiddle, and can we sort out our own suma. And how do we politely tell the solicitor we no longer need her and certainly do not want to pay her a yearly fee. Which we never agreed to, anyone else outthere this happened to and any advise would be grateful
