Hello ,

First post on this forum , we have just bought a property in Villamartin as a holiday home. Can’t wait to start using it. I want My Mother in law to be able to use on her own as well , so after some advice on reliably getting To and from either Alicante or Murcia airport. She will Not want to hire a car and when travelling alone I want her to feel safe.

Thanks ,

In anticipation of your help  😁

Hi best way for your mother in law is a coach from Airport to Villamartin €20 euros each way you can get dropped off at Villamartin Plazza or La Fuente depending which side of Villamartin you are https://www.beniconnect.com/en/shuttle-airport-transfer/ hope this helps Marcus

Hi Craig, welcome to the Forum, and many congratulations on the purchase of your very own  Place in the Sun .

Maybe an idea would be  to chat to some neighbours or other people you make friends with in and around Villamartin ,and ask them for recommendations  for transport from Alicante or Murcia , for your Mother in Law.  Personal reccomendation ,in this case, may well put at ease any understandable worries your family may have.

On a personal note ,and definately not a recommended option, if I was in your situation I would be looking to arrange transport for my Mother in Law, from Alicante or Murcia to Timbuktu, 😕 😀 , but as I say , hopefully not necessary in your case. 🙂.

Hi  I can recommend highly beniconnect..   You can book online, it is very easy.  I have two trips planned and booked the transport to and from the airport Alicante to villamartin. You pick the bus up on level '-1'  there is a little booth there and they tell you which bay to go to.  The transport I have found to be very clean and a pleasure to travel, the drivers are polite and helpful.  I want more people to use them so they continue their service.

I assume the cost, they charge 20euros each way to villamartin but sometimes they have offers.
