I am coming over hopefully in august but due to high cost of car hire while not have a car for the first time
Does anybody know how much it is for a taxis on spec from Alicate tax rank to villamartin
and is they any good taxis services which i can use to pick me up from the mercado with a big shop
i know they is a bus service but dont want to stood waiting a stop in the august heat with ice cream ect

The taxis at Alicante airport are Elche registered and are metered cabs... From there to La Mata area usually costs about ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,€60. You could call and ask for an estimate for Villamartin.
The official Alicante Airport taxis are the ones operated by Radio Taxi Elche. You will easily identify them by the green stripe.
If you wish to hail a taxi, please call: +34 965 42 77 77.
Opening hours: Service is available from 09:00 am to 01:00 am.

Hi try benniconnet booked private transfer through them door to door return for better price than other firms and will have someone waiting at airport with board. The amount saved over car will more than cover taxis to shops etc whilst here. Car hire silly money this year
