things to do at xmas

hi everyone we bought a house in the summer in Villamartin and was looking at what things there are to do round xmas time.we are looking at coming over round Boxing Day really but have kids and just want to make sure we can keep them entertained, hear surfing can be good can anyone recommend which beach are best and for hiring wetsuits and boards , any other suggestions??? what is the weather like that time of year? thanks in advance

Just remember to bring plenty of warm clothes - you will be surprised at how cold Spanish houses are at that time of year.

Don’t forget your slippers!

Daytime temperatures can vary but usually between the hours of 10 am to 4pm it’s 20-25C, although in the shade it’s much cooler.

Hello Peter

At that time of year, there are no facilities open for hiring surf boards etc in my area ( La Mata) Sometime in Oct. all the beach hire equipment will be gone & sun bed hire reduced gradually until all are gone until next summer.

The sea will be very cold but the weather might remain warm enough for a few hrs on the beach , some cafes/bars on the boardwalk will be open but they often close early.
