i have just recieved my latest bill from iberdrola for the last month which seems high due to been in uk and have turned off electric when i left in march

i am on 5.75 kwh per hour supply and am trying to find out if 28 euro including iva is correct for a month supply  and is they any other deals where you dont pay as high Potencia facturada with me only using my house around 6 weeks a year

yes i only just upgraded due to power tipping when having oven on ect

not bothered about paying my bill trying to find out if you get a better deal with the Potencia facturada due to house been empty

if it means paying more for the electric i use when i use house but reduces the Potencia facturada so cheaper when in uk

Hi Richard,

I believe Iberdrola offer tailored 'Summer " and "  Winter " Plans.

I think the Summer Plan runs from mid June until mid September.

If this fits your holiday periods it may be worth making further enquirees over its availability in your area .

LeckyLes.

I pay 23€ per mth when the house is empty. Because mine is a holiday home and I don't go over the colder mths i have a lower tariff

As I understand it, the standing charge is regulated by government and can't be avoided.

If you fancy a bit of light reading, have a look at Real Decreto 1164/2001 and the other laws referenced in it.
