Hi,

Can anyone ,please enlighten me on how electricity billed.We have a holiday apartment & have just received a monthly bill for a period when we were not there.It actually says there were no kwhs used , but the bill has still come in at 19.18 euros for a 25 day

period ,this seems to be for standing charge & vat.

Would appreciate some advice please

20 euros a month is the norm for standing charge when property is empty

Hi there,

That sounds more like standing charge if your property is unoccupied. Make sure your mains are switched off.

hi all does it mean when its occupied the cost apart from usage, the standing charge goes up as well
