Gas connection

I had a rep call offering to install gas into our apartment in Florida Golf, all pipe work was done very quickly and done to a good standard. They told me that we would be connected to the mains in September once all the legal stuff was done at the town hall. Well it's now nearly March we've no gas connected even though our neighbour has gas , so we know the gas is available. The company says all they do is to put the pipe work in and send the bill. Any ideas how we get the gas to be connected

I suspect you may have been clobbered. When the gas lines was fitted near us they offered residents a fixed price including the connection and the meter.

I may be wrong it looks like a company has just tagged on to the work in the street and is offering pointless accommodation works which don't include the connection.

I would suggest getting the billing details from your neighbour and go that way
