20 degrees is cold. lol

Once the sun goes down I have been rugging up with jacket and woolly hat in the evenings. I would definitely bring some warmer clothes especially for the nights and mornings.

It’s been quite variable over the past week.

A few days with a cold northerly wind, which made it very pleasant out of the wind, but chilly otherwise - especially in the shade.

Yesterday was windy but warm. Today is less windy but chilly.

I’ve been working outside today doing a bit of painting. I was wearing long trousers, and a sweatshirt over a t-shirt. I was in the shade and to be honest I could have done with another layer on. I guess that in the sun, or doing something a bit more energetic than wielding a paint brush then I might have been a bit too warm in what I was wearing.

It’s probably going to get cooler over the next week or so, as we approach December, so bring some warm clothes. I’d probably pack things that allow you to wear several layers so that you can add-remove them depending on where you are and what you’re doing.

Despite being a bit chilly, I find that the blue skies make it much more pleasant than being in the gloomy UK. 😎

Hi, I think I was the lady you were talking to :-) it’s freezing believe me. I drove the kids to school this morning and it was 12 degrees! Now I am currently sitting with my open log fire on, Jeans, jumper and the thickest fluffy socks you have ever seen. It’s cold. Today’s temperature didn’t exceed 20 degrees which sounds great but it’s not, it’s chilly. It will definitely get a lot colder in the next week to 10 days. Nicola :-)

I think my thermostat must be set differently to other people! I'm a naturist, and I was doing things in my workshop yesterday, without clothes and quite comfortable. In the evening I had to light the log fire for Margaret - the first time it's been lit this autumn - and I ended up roasting. When I went to bed, I found Margaret had put (home-made) wheat bags in the bed, and I instantly moved the one on my side of the bed over to hers.

I agree that it feels a bit chilly out of the sun during the day, especially if there's a breeze, but to me that's a refreshing feeling, rather than cold. It's been helped the last few days because the humidity has been low, which helps to offset how you feel the temperature, whether it's high or low.

As I write this, it's 17 degrees in my office, but again the humidity is low, and I haven't needed to put anything on.
