As you don't need a boletín for a BBQ, you should be able to buy one from a petrol station, or Cepsa/Repsol depot.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Going to a garage or depot is an essential journey, but would going to someone's house be classed the same?

Off topic, does anyone know the cost of a bottle without doing an exchange?

If it's not much more than the usual €10 for an empty, plus ~€15 for a refill, then it might be worth thinking about.

Hi Jim

it cost us €38 for the new bottle and gas.We wanted a spare one. It's definitely cheaper buying a bottle, then getting it filled with gas.
