You could try Conforama in the Boulevard, they sell furniture and electrical items such as TV's and they currently have a sale on.

If you want something a little different,  there is a shop called General muebles, it's on the same side as Boris Sports Bar in Blue Lagoon/El Galan.

If you really want to push the boat out then try La Hoya Hermosa in Cabo Riog, not to everyone's taste and they are expensive but they do have very unusual furniture and decorative items.

Hi Nina, we ordered our furniture online from Ikea, Murcia and had it delivered. We did this on two occasions and had no problems at all. Be aware though that most of it is self assembly, so not for everyone.

If the second hand shops do not want your furniture then try a couple of the charity shops to see if they would like it.

New2you in Mar Azul (on the way into Torrevieja) is good but it is pot luck as to whether they have what you like in stock as the best obviously sells quickly.  New2you also sell and deliver new mattresses so you can keep costs down by using second hand bed frames and buy new mattresses.  As someone else said - check the frame and mattress sizes as some beds are shorter.

There is a sofa shop and a bed shop in La Zenia in the older commercial are that runs parallel to the N332 Calle Maestro Torralba that I've heard are good and reliable with a much more personal service as smaller shops (but range of product good).  Many people have had delivery problems with Conforama.  If you want new sofas you can also buy at a UK DFS and they deliver to Spain as they have a shop in San Javier - same price as they charge for delivery in the UK!

There is an auction at cheers bar in eagles nest every Wednesday at around 12/1pm if you have stuff you want to get rid of. Sam that runs the auction also has a large lock up with lots of second hand goods for sale.
