Evening all,

I'm coming to Villena, Spain in August and was wondering if anyone knows if the Randox Certfly home test & certificate is acceptable to Spanish authorities?

I was in Portugal last month and the gov site insisted on professional testing was required which we did 24 hours before arrival at Stansted, however the gov site for Spain entry doesn't mention proffessionaly tested requirement?? Can anyone clarify please?

Thank you in advance

Paul

The legislation says that you just need to show a negative test certificate and in the case of an antigen test needs to be taken within 24 hours of your arrival in Spain. You’ll then need to upload it to the SpTH form

As long as the certificate is within the time frame, is obviously negative and has your passport number on it, you should be OK.

It is always best to follow the official advice available on the Spanish Travel Health website:

The Randox is fine. As long as you present the Randox issued certificate and it’s done within the necessary time frame

If it helps, we arrived in Spain last week at Alicante airport. My girlfriend did a legit professional covid test before leaving uk at Bristol airport. When they scanned her certificate at Alicante it wouldn't scan, they then asked which airport she had flown from and just let her in.

I’ve just checked if you have all your vaccine jabs and get a vaccine pass no tests required
