Hi all. Just a thought. Recently the forum posts have been inundated with requests for locations for pcr and Antigen tests. Even I asked the question myself. Would it not be easier to type the same question into google rather than on here to get an immediate answer rather than sit and wait in the hope that someone replys? 😊

With Google there is no personal recommendation or experience that users get when asking on the forum cant ask Google "what is the parking like" or how long does the bus take?  Maybe if admin see the same question being asked then create a FAQ's section.

Yes I understand what your saying but there is nothing personal in asking where to get jabbed.

Those questions like "where to park" or "best place to eat" are what this forum is about but when the same question is asked several times a week e.g. "what tests and papers do I need to fly" get a bit annoying when definitive information can be found on .gov or airline websites or doing  a quick search on this forum.

I think people just like to hear from someone who has actually gone through the experience, it can be reassuring.

Not so long back some users were complaining about the conflicting & downright confusing information on Gov.uk.

I agree there isn't, but there is something personal in the reply that can give insight into how the experience was for that person and what the op can expect. If Spain had not decided to send people here, there and everywhere then maybe they would not be asking " where do I get jabbed"? My husband had both his Pfizer vaccinations at our local medical centre, I on the other hand had my first Pfizer vaccination at Torrevieja the 2nd at Pilar.

The original post related to Antigen and pcr testing centres. Not coronavirus jabs which I understand is a little more complicated.

Hi Carol

On the sister site Costa Calida, one enterprising user has posted a guide to the majority of towns in that area, where to go, how much the test is etc.

Maybe someone or Admin might do a similar guide on this forum. Sorry but I don't have the time but maybe someone does.

Regards

Pauline.
