MOVING A CAR FROM THE UK

Hello all,

I am looking for someone who can pick up a car for me from near London and bring it down here. There is no timescale at the moment.

Ideally someone with a dedicated transporter who is looking for a return load or even part load.. A van and trailer adds a lot of extra length which shoves the cost up on the ferry.

The car does run but I need to sort it a bit before subjecting it to a long run, like down to Spain.

Hi, we had a car transported from central Spain to the Cotswolds and used Anchor Vehicle Logistics Ltd, they were fantastic, kept us up to date and the cost wasn't the cheapest but very professional.

There are a couple of others on the web who charge around 600 - 650 GBP. If its RHD and not very useable then I wouldn´t bother, it only has scrap value here.

Thanks all of you for the suggestions. The reason I wanted it moved from the UK is that it is LHD. I did not want to drive it down even though it is running since the engine in this model of car is fraught with problems and I need to strip it before doing a long drive.

I would not want to trailer a UK RHD care down here. As you say, not worth it.

If you are thinking of buying a Chrysler Sebring Convertible with the 2.7 V6 engine, which is a super looking car, ask a lot of questions about the engine.
