Hi all, we have a house just outside Villena, in Las Virtudes, that nobody can ever find. We are thinking of putting a sign up on the road to help people find us. Are there any rules or regulations about putting signs up that we should know about?
Hi, I’m not sure if there is any regulation about putting up sign. Personally I wouldn’t, you just advertising the fact of where your house is to let’s say some very unsavoury types 😡. I understand your frustration, we also can never be found. But we would much rather arrange meeting point and go out a bring in Friends, delivery of wood or oil or just a meeting point for collection of parcels 😎

If you download an app called what3words every 3x3m square has a unique 3 words. Just go to your entrance and note the 3 words and advise visitors of this. Once downloaded you can get directions from anywhere to your property with tomtom or Google because they both link with the app.

If it was me and the problem was so, I would put up the sign and if anyone official decided it was not correct to have it in place then you could take it back down.
If no objections are raised then no issue to worry about,
