I have a Qualcast UK chainsaw that requires a repair as fuel pipes inside tank and carb are leaking very badly , it really needs a professional experienced person to strip all down and repair/replace new fuel piping .

Are there any service shops that can do repairs , we are close to Viella but do travel to benidorm, Alicante, crevillent regularly so can go to any of these areas .

I appreciate any help from individuals but this is a bit more in-depth as does need experience as the pipe connection to filter inside tiny fuel tank is route cause.

Thanks again for any replies and contacts

Regards Dean

Hi Dean, not sure of the name of the road, but if you know where the Villena Hospital is there is a repair place opposite. We have taken our hedge cutter for repair!

Good morning, thank you , I know were hospital is so will have a drive round this morning

I thought must be some one or place in this area who can do these repairs as all farmers must have some similar tools .

Thanks again and will let you know

Regards Dean

If you are in or close to Villena I would suggest you best bet is Ferri's at the side of the A31. I take my chain there to be re-sharpened and there is a big gardening section  It's on the first floor and the coffee shop on the second floor is good.

The ground floor is paradise for anyone who likes tools.

Hi Anne, just to let you know I got the chiansaw repaired at place you recommended few weeks ago.

It cost a bit more than I expected but it works now but couldn't find any other options but thats how it goes.

Just to thank you again for the info you kindly gave.

I would be more cautious in future if I had other petrol equipment if needed any repairs and try an get a price first as it was €60 euro to fit new fuel pipes but a new chainsaw is only £75.00 .

Ann, just another pm message if you have been here in Villena a while as don't want to ask our usual freinds but do you know were I can buy Xmas cards from specifically for wife , in English if possible but totally forgot to buy in UK before we came over few months ago , of course the wife planned ahead and brought them all over for all family.

Anyhow any suggestions greatly appreciated

Thanks again and best regards

Dean

Hi Dean, pleased you got the chainsaw fixed, so sorry you paid that much, as you say next time ask before hand, we all learn by our mistakes, we still are. Well you asking about Christmas cards made me LOL. As my husband asked me the exact same thing the other day, I bought his cards from the UK for about the next 5 years. He has come up with a plan, he has opened a Moonpig account so is having the cards sent to our address in Spain. I can only think that maybe the English shop in either Caudette or the one in Castella International opposite the No Hope Bar, might have English cards. But personally I think Moonpig does it for me, as they send it with another envelope, and you can now be creative and write your own words. 😂😂 If you and your wife ever want to meet up for a coffee in Villena, let us know. Good luck with the cards 😊
