Hi there all just a question on bank charges, does anyone know of a bank that doesn't charge extortionate fees. I have been with caja Madrid now caxija for over 20 years and how now paying 250 euros for the privilege. All my utilities are paid through my account but it does seem very high, bearing in mind I have never been overdrawn. Therefore I am looking to find a bank that doesn't charge so highly possibly an Internet account, they seem to be popular at this time. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards John Wheaton

My uk private pensions are non taxable in UK as tax was paid at source only my government pension is taxable.  Here in spain  they want to tax me on government and private pensions . have my uk tax forms that say my private pensions  are not taxable and I have the tax codes for them as well  can the spanish government  still tax me on these 

Can anyone recommend a repair person as my oven keeps tripping out the breaker in the fuse box.

I will have a decent living pension but was enquiring where to invest "My Pot?

I have tried to get my head round Compliant Bonds and a Temporary Annuity.

Does anyone have any experience on this subject?

When we next go back to the UK to see friends and family, the accommodation we are staying in doesn’t have wifi.  I don’t currently have a smartphone linked to a cellular network so I am looking for the best way of accessing data without wifi.  I have heard that the Lobster SIM can be used in both Spain and the UK without data roaming charges being incurred.  Does anyone have any experience of using a Lobster SIM in the UK (for data) and would you recommend?  Any other advice welcome.
