If a Canadian moves permanently to Spain would he/she have to take the Spanish driving test and medical in order to swap their Canadian driving licence to a Spanish one?

In the months after Brexit there were many debates on the forum about 90/180 restrictions. 

In one dedate I pointed out that very few people will post on a Forum about their penalty for an overstay. Well now at least one has.

On a Facebook forum someone has detailed the length of their overstay and the fine they paid. I can't link to the FB page but I took a screenshot of the post which I've attached. €198 for 11 days.

What it tells us is that the system is now capable of highlighting overstay to immigration control at Borders.

Hello, my name is Tony and i have been resident in Spain for 5 years. When i moved here with my family we took on a business in Castell de Castells running mountain bike/walking holidays, this was successful and enjoyable but we have now relocated to the Beniarbeig region. I am now actively trying to find employment that can help pay the bills. I have registered with the 'Labora' and tried other job search apps but nothing comes up that is suitable for an English national with basic Spanish language. Can anyone advise me on job opportunities for someone in my situation...Basically, i am happy to take on any opportunity... I have years of experience working in kitchens as an assistant chef, on building sites as a labourer, leisure centre management, lifeguard, swimming instructor, exercise trainer, mountain guide for walking and biking, a keen gardener, painter and decorator.

A recent thread informed us that Seguro Parking are no longer offering car drop at Departures level.

My question is have all parking companies been asked to stop accepting cars at Departures? If not, can anyone recommend a company that still offers drop and return to Departures?

My elderly neighbour has to relocate to the UK and can't take Marmalade with her.

Marmalade adopted my neighbour 3 years ago and has become a much loved companion. She's timid at first but very loyal and loving once trust is gained. Needs to have garden/street access ie she's not an apartment cat. She's not chipped. She can be viewed in Beniarbeig. (Bear in mind this is 25 miles north of Benidorm) If you can give a new home to Marmalade please get in touch here or via private mail.

Can anyone help me understand what water shares are or mean in the area of beniarbeig?

Angela lives in the old police station in Beniarbeig. 

I am enquiring for a friend,who is thinking of moving to this area,as to whether there is a day care centre. My friend looks after her husband 24/7,but needs a break a couple of times a week. Her husband has vascular dementia. Can anybody help please?

I'm thinking about selling my UK RHD Spanish plated car next year. It would be a private sale. Can anyone advise me about the paperwork transfer procedure?

My specific question is this - if I agree a price with a buyer (likely British) would we go together to a Gestor to do the transfer of ownership? And assuming that's correct, with a prior appointment would a Gestor do the paperwork on the spot, or do you expect to have to go back?

An ideal sale scenario would be 1. Agree sale with buyer 2. Go to Gestor who does paperwork 3. Funds transferred to me by the buyer while we wait at the Gestoria 4. Buyer drives away

I'm assuming that it's not going to be that simple though! Can anyone who's sold a UK RHD car imported onto Spanish plates to a Spanish non resident (or resident) let me know how they got on?

I'm going to change my Residencia for a TIE. Can anyone who's done that tell me how long it took them to secure an appointment at Alicante?

Do you file the application online then wait to be called? If that's correct typically how long did you wait?
