I have just found a tiny little snake in my garden whilst tidying out a bed. It was too quick for me to take a photo but it was only about 15cm long, moved very quickly and was a shiny black, grey colour. 
does anyone know what it could be?

I am considering buying a house in Benissa that does not yet have a tourist license. How difficult is it to get this? I understood it is harder to get recently in Altea, was wondering if this is the case in Benissa too?

Hello. We have recently bought a finca in Benissa and are looking for plants for the garden. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is not as expensive to buy plants and trees? Or is there perhaps a forum or market for buying plants?

Since September 2023 we have been charged for sanitation services on our water bill, we have had the place for 9 years with a charge for water usage only so was quite surprised to see these extra charges.

 I had  assumed as we are not connect to the sewer system and had a septic only for waste water we were not charged.

Does anyone know if this could be a mistake or change of  council policy ?

We are in a block of 6 flats and one person has the water meter in his name as he owns 4 flats and we pay him for what we consume each month

Now 2 of us want to have our water direct from mains with our own water account and meter so we paid Benissa agua £790 for the right to connect and they gave us a meter. Now they say we cant connect to the pipe leading to the property as its only 3/4 inch and we need to dig around the road to find the main 1" pipe.

They cant help with a plan so how can we expect to dig blindly looking for a water pipe?

They are even charging us £13 per month for what looks like a standing charge and we have not even connected the new meter yet

Would anyone know where I can log a formal complaint ?
