We are based in El Campello and are having to relocate to another apartment about 400 metres away. Probably towards the last week in March. It would be helpful to know the approximate cost of a one day hire of a Man with Van. There  is a lift in both the properties.

Thanks for all the tips along our holiday home journey in El Campello so far. They help to get items ticked off he list. Our next one is finding a company that can look after the place periodically (won't rent it out atm) - basic check for damages, leaks etc. Anyone working with a company they would recommend

We are staying in el Campello this weekend, and would like to know if there are any bars showing the Six Nations Rugby?

Hi there we have Freesat in our home in France and in our holiday home in Alicante.. Yesterday I noticed that the 'Great tv' channels are gone from our Freesat here in France.. Was just wondering whether the same has happened to those channels in Spain?  Occasionally there used to be some good movies on the channels.

Hi, we found a nice property, made an offer and had the contract reviewed by a local lawyer, and all good so far. But here is our confusion - what services do we need? The real estate agent recommended a number of people for different things (one to manage tramis, Transfer tax, register with the town hall) and then then our lawyer proposed we use the notaries services for something that sounds similar. I'm not adverse to paying someone to do a necessary job but I'm not willing to be fleeced either (i.e. did my NIE myself with a very pleasant process at my Consulate for 10 eyes rather than the 200 one of the constants quotes us).

Can anyone share experience and suggestions on what we should get outsourced (my Spanish isnt great yet)
