Hi I was interested to learn that in Spain there are more new rules it seems especially in benidorm, eg smoking bans on beach or outside, no drinking alcohol on beach, no going topless outside, there seems to be more rules and threat of more fines is this for everyone or just British , also there is complaints about tourists owning property where Spanish people are getting evicted by their private landlords, what's your opinion thank you.

Hello , when I go to Spain for 3 weeks we fill up our plastic garden pool with water, but when we are due to go home can I empty my pool all at once so the water would go down the garden and then the street, would this break any rules or upset anybody, thank you.

Just looking for a bit of advice.  We are looking to buy around LaZenia/Playa Flamenca/Cabo Roig area.  I am just wondering what work would be like for a tradesman who can turn his hand to a lot… perhaps for English speaking customers.  He is bricklayer by trade but also does fencing, patios, carpenters work like garden rooms,  pergolas, etc ,  landscaping, refurbishment work, he’s an excellent painter.  Below is just some of the many things he has created here in Ireland !  Very reliable and won’t rip you off.  Is cash payment out of the question here and would there be much uptake for work for him there with his experience? Thanks in advance

Hi all, am looking for some advice. My husband and I are coming over early June for approximately 3 months to holiday and finally find our new home. We came over in November, found a house, then lost our buyers, so this time we are not coming until we have the cash in our hands as it were! We've looked at lots of different sites with regards to longer term rentals but its all so expensive and of course we don't really know how long we will need to be there. We're thinking 3 months. Will have a car so travelling will not be a problem. We appreciate our timing on this is absolutely rubbish, bang in the middle of summer!

Any suggestions on the cheapest way to do this?. Many thanks

Can anyone recommend a secure hotel about 4 hrs away from Santander going to La Zenia preferable not Madrid.  Many thanks
