Hi there, I am new to Las Ramblas area. Just moved from Mil Palmeras and bought a villa in Las Ramblas, not moved in yet. Excited and looking forward to it! Are there plenty of good restaurants in the area? Nice walks etc?Anyway, just saying hello 👋

Having owned our property for over 18 months (we come and go) we arrived recently to discover our gas supply had been locked off. We found out from our conveyancer that the gas utility had not been transferred to us, and with bills going unpaid ( unbeknown to us) the gas supply was terminated. We are now back in uk having unsuccessfully been able to get the gas reconnected even though the conveyancer paid the bill on our behalf ( we suspect after the gas was turned of) 

1. Who is liable for this mess?

All other utilities transferred successfully. Our conveyancer is trying to lay the blame on the previous owner. All requests to reconnect so far failed. Any advice much appreciated

We have a ground floor appartement facing the golf course. Recently, mold has started to appear in one of the bedrooms, first around the window and now it is spreading to the surrounding walls.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Before taking any action, we need to determine the exact cause in order to find the appropriate company/solution and get it fixed right.

It may be relevant to know that until last September, the apartment was only used occasionally, whereas now, it is inhabited permanently. We have been running the aircon, heating, airing the room, but to no avail  

Any information about similar experiences is greatly appreciated.

Does anybody have cellular phone connection issues on Calle Anfora?
When calling from inside the apartment (ground floor), calls are frequently dropped. When calling on the balcony, it is a little better, yet calls still break up and the person on the other side of the line often only hears part of what we say. Furthermore, and I don’t know if this is related, we’re also having major TV reception issues (IPTV, with box).

Internet works on the other hand works excellent.

FYI: We are with TeleTorrevieja/TVT for cellular phone service and with VegaFibra for internet.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi. We are with Iberdrola. Does anyone know if bills are estimated?

Good morning. I will be staying in the area of Las Ramblas Golf for the month of November this year without a car. Can anyone please advise me on public transport from La Fuente Comercial centre. Are there any buses that travel down to the coast, La Zenia Boulevard or Torrevieja at that time of year?
