Collected wedding invitation from Orba Correos and was asked to pay 13,55 euros in tax. Its ludicrous, I was so upset, its just a card in envelope wedding invitation, its not produce or resale.  Its crazy this needs to be stopped, I have complained to Correos something needs to be done. Brexit has caused more trouble than it was worth and cost us expats more money and trouble and stress and for what!!!!!

My mum is currently in torrevieja hospital and I am gobsmacked at the level of care here and not in a good way. She’s spent over a week here not eating and when I asked the nurse this morning about a food chart she was surprised to know that she hadn’t eaten in a week. ( apart from a small amount ). I went to see her one morning and found last nights tablets on the table. This was after a day of telling them that she was confused. A confused patient isn’t going to help herself to tablets left for her.  It’s only when I let slip that I am a nurse myself and that mum is a prime candidate for sepsis that the nurse called for the doctor. I feel I have to be here at key times if the day to make sure she has her meds. 

Guys any experiences what will be a good provider for internet in Murla?

Does anyone know how to get electricity connected to  property that is on the campo it has no connection  and never has. 

Have contacted Iberdrola and they started a application asking for all kinds of maps and documents which I could not provide so they cancellec out application, am trying again. has anyone had experience of this and any success and is it costly.

We have some iron and metal to sell or collected is there anyone interested or know of anyone who buys scrap metal,
