My Sky box showing no satellite signal today on BBC1HD and BBC 2 HD channels. Anyone else getting same? . We have had no ITV 1 HD channel this visit either(since March) but able to continue on 803 ITV standard, but there's no BBC standard channels now so no alternatives. I dont pay for HD channels as only watch BBC1 and 2 and they are free, but would paying the HD subscription bring the lost ones here back?  Any help or advice gretly appreciated

My elderly Jeep reaches its thirtieth birthday in December this year.  In the UK you can apply to the DVLA to go onto Historic Status at 30.  

This means no Road taxes and no MoT necessary.  It does advise that the car should continue to be well maintained which I am certain most Classic cars will be.

I believe in Spain you can do something similar but I have no idea of the procedure or what benefits you gain from going Historic.

I'm sure someone out there will have the necessary experience who can help me.  Thanks.

One thing I can be certain about is that it won't be as straightforward as the UK.  Rubber stamps guaranteed.

I am sorry for the long post but I am struggling a bit here. Not something that you carry out everyday but would welcome some help if at all possible. 

I need to deregister my husbands TIE card following his death. He was a permanent resident under the WIthdrawal Agreement, if that makes any difference.  I understand that this is done by completion of  Form EX18 and mark Cese de Baja accordingly. There is a space for inputting the reason. Any idea as to exactly what to enter here.

Do you down load the form and complete it, or must it be completed on line, then printed off. 

Is a payment required with Modelo 790 012, presumably and if so, which box is to be ticked

I assume that they will require to see his passport (with copy) and original TIE card. Copy padron ?

Do they give you some sort of receipt to say that this  deregistration has been carried out, or do you have to complete a further form to request this confirmation. If so, any idea of the form required. The reason I ask is that  the Ayuntamiento have given me a form to complete and return to deregister him off the Padron.  The lady was a bit officious and most insistant that they would require to see confirmation that this has been done. When I asked what would be required she merely shrugged her shoulders and tutted.  Not very helpful at all !!

Finally can anyone tell me which box I would tick when making an appointment with the Extranjeros office at my local Policia Nacional

We had an eco septic tank installed 18 months ago, the tank was for 8 people and there is only the 2 of us living here.  We received a letter from the Confederation Hydrografica saying that we needed to get the waste tested. Eventually we managed to find a company that caried out this process, we have now received the results report which we cant understand although we do realise that it has failed miserably.  We have not touched it since it was installed, we were made to believe that this system produced clear water that would acceptable to the water table.  which ours clearly is not.  We have now increased the time that the air pump runs to 10 hours a day.  But still the water is not clearing.  That is after paying 190 euros for the test, nobody seems to want to help.  Any advise

Just arrived after a 2yr absence and our quad LNB has developed a fault. Thankfully 2outputs are ok but 2 no signal. Also the 15yr cable has suffered a break somewhere internally and has many outer breaks due to the sun so needs replacing. Who serves the Villena area best, did get guy from La Romana 10+yrs ago but wondered if any other newer satellite engineers more local to Villena. Thanks for any info

I use Freesat for all my viewing.  It's not perfect as individual channels, especially BBC1 tend to disappear and I have to chase through all the regions to find one that is still working.

Just recently at 11am, a huge number of channels simply disappear for about 10 minutes. Very annoying since my favourite programme 'Chasing Classic Cars' on Quest is just starting.

Can someone please explain why this has started to happen, why and will it continue?
