Coming to have a look at properties in Aspe.We are English speaking.I would like to know about the social life, wine bars ,live music ,fiestas ,markets.I am learning Spanish but my husband only speak English ,is there a lot of English speaking people living in Aspe?
Aspe is a very nice town. I live 15 minutes from it, in La Romana. It is a quite Spanish enclave. Lots of English is heard but not necessarily from English people. The surrounding area has a lot of Belgium's, Dutch and some French. Which is no bad thing and keeps the standards of Petanque high!. Very good swimming pool and gym. Good Aldi (or is it Lidl) and large Mercadona up the road in Novelda. Well situated for access to most of life's needs, though the beach is a bit of a trek!
