I would think it unlikely. However, this is not a difficult dish to make, providing one has the time, or a pressure cooker which will of course do it much more quickly. The cost of the ingredients will be minimal.

I’ve seen it for sure in the branches local to me, so they do stock it.

But I can’t advise if they have it in stock at the moment in you local branch.

It's local to London, not available in other cities in the UK.

Suggest you get a recipe and make it.

Cheers, J

It’s very simple! Fry onions, carrot, celery if you like. Add dried yellow split peas, simmer till done. Reduce liquid if necessary. Mash or blitz in food processor, add salt and a splash of vinegar and some butter. Job done.

Pease pudding is originally a dish from the North East of England, it was a staple part of the diet when we were growing  up, either with ham or savaloy's in a bread bun, lovely!  Still sold in many buthchers shops as well as supermarkets in the N-E.

Rgds,

 Aitch.

Addition to basic recipe, forgot to add should be cooked either with a piece of ham or in the reserved ham water.

Sounds like what is called in the North mushy peas, dressed up a bit as it's from the capital.

Easy enough to follow the recipe above.

Cheers, J
