I have been going to Benidorm since 1974 in the days when you had to cover up if not on the beach so obviously we don't

 want to go back to Franco days. But also the terrible slogans written on t shirts outside shops I think the back of the shop would be a better place. With "suck my cock"

Benidorm is seedy and a tacky dump and defo not a family resort. I thought this was common knowledge 

You must be on a different planet to millions of people who come to Benidorm every year with their families,  some come multiple times each year.

Families, old folk, young couples etc come here and enjoy themselves because there is always something that they find to do be it relaxing on the beach, watching a show or eating out etc.

Many come to spend their retirement here in Benidorm too.....

Benidorm is one of the most Visited holiday destinations in Europe so you are very much in the minority Martyn......

Benidorm is there for relaxed fun loving people ...........only.

I agree, doesn't mean I have to like it though, I make no secret that I don't like Benidorm. But also do say that I understand why people like it. Its safer than the UK and considering how much mess the tourist make they keep it clean. But I have worked down the square and drank down there (when I used to drink) soon realised it's tacky and seedy and I trust noone there. However as I also stated I agree with everything else you said and pointed out the positives. People like different things, when I was in my 20s Benidorm probably would've appealled to me until I learnt younger people visit other places 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Adding note for OP the dancing girls are brilliant in my opinion. Best view ever 😉😉😉😉

Depends how you look at the world. I and many others don't want to walk past a sex shop with all items displayed in windows. At least other countries black out the windows.
