Supreme Court Ruling nullifying coastal boundary modification
Hi All,
So, I’ve just read that the Supreme Court has nullified the Royal Decree modifying coastal boundaries and possible expropriation of residents on the northern coast of Denia. As I understand it, the ruling was made on the basis of failure of proper consultation, so presumably they could just reintroduce it with the proper consultations?
Does anyone know more about this? Is there a map somewhere outlining the proposed new boundaries and who might be impacted?
I am hoping to buy a property in the area and would obviously like to avoid any potential areas in dispute. Lots of properties for sale in Deveses which seems to be right in the middle of it!
Also would this mean they could resell expropriated properties for high-rise developments in the future? Is this the plan?
Any insights greatly appreciated.
