Hi all,

Something worth noting if you're using your Mastercard in the UK to purchase from the EU.  It's also suggested that Visa may follow the lead:

Kind regards,
Kim

Or presumably if you use your UK card for purchases in the EU. I wonder how long no charge credit cards such as Clarity will remain free? At the very least I expect they may try to claw some back through the exchange rate.

Hi Portet,

I live permanently in Spain and have previously used my UK-issued Visa credit card for online purchases from the UK.  However, with the Customs duty and delays associated with buying from the UK that we're now hearing of, I can see my Visa card being used only for when I visit the UK 🤔

Kind regards,

Kim

I can see me no longer using my free to use abroad card for purchases and cash. Have just ordered TransferWise debit card to use when I'm out there if things do go wrong with the credit cards.
