Broadband on Gata residential

I recently moved to Beniarbeig, just up the road. I looked at Excom who I thought were expensive, also Telitec, ditto, and ended up going with holawifi (www.internetcasigratis) tel 671 113 113. Just internet, I may go elsewhere for tv when I get my appetite back for it.............

They have various options. I went for an 18 month contract.(you don't have to take a contract) Dish installation was a one off payment of 83, and I opted for 12mb at a monthly cost of 24.18. The signal coming off the mountain is good, was reading 15 when he installed.

I think some of the bigger companies see us Brits coming. I think this company is more local/Spanish .

We are with WifiWays in Javea, recently bought out by excom and the signal has been so poor recently that we are looking for another provider.Could you please let us know if you are achieving the bandwidth you are paying for with holawifi?  Once you pay for the installation, I guess it would be too late to discover its no faster than it should be;)

It seems quite strong Lizzy but the dish has unobstructed line of sight to the the mountain so that's probably helping. 

Thank you for the replies, we will certainly check out holawifi..seems like life without Internet isn't possible these days.

I've 4G with excom and it's working really good for me.

We live in Gata Residencial too and use Telitec but the WiFi coverage drives me crazy . If you are out in the Naya it’s on one bar , if you go to the first floor it’s on maximum 2 bars . Up in the tower there is no chance ! So I too would be interested to change if there are recommendations for better companies . 

Janofjavea.... that sounds like it is your routers wifi signal that is not being made available to all the locations in your house. Nothing to do with the actual service itself, so changing providers may only result in the same issue.

It should be able to be resolved a number of ways... like moving the router to a different location (like in the middle of the house - obviously a router at one side of the house may not be available at the other side of the house) , or using wifi extenders or powerline plugs, to redistribute the signal to other areas.
